Using Bid Studio
Your tour of the app as LGS, in plain words. Come back to this page at any time from the menu.
What this app is
The place where a bid gets written: from the client's request, the price and the margin check to a document you can send, in Word or PDF.
What it does
It pulls the price from Rate and Revenue, the margin check from the Margin Engine and case studies from Partner Hub. The AI drafts each section; a person edits it and an owner approves it. Only approved text goes out, and never the margin or the cost.
How to use it
Open the Control room, pick the workspace that needs you most and work inside it like its own team does. You never have to add or pick a workspace to carry on.
Getting started
Each step opens the place where you do it and ticks itself when the app sees it is done. Skip any of them and come back later.
- Add your name
- Look round the Control roomEvery workspace on one screen, the ones that need a look first.
- Add a workspace when you have one
- See who uses the appEvery workspace's people, when and for how long.
All set.
Your admin console
Where LGS works on workspaces: their people and how they use the app.
- Control roomEvery workspace on one screen, the ones that need a look first. Open one to work inside it. New workspaces are added at the bottom.
- InvitesInside a workspace, Settings lists who can see it. Invite its first owner from there; the owner invites the rest.
- UsageWho uses the app at each client, when and for how long.
- LicencesEach workspace's licence status, end date and user limit show in its Settings. The super admin sets them.
The date and time at the top of every page
When bid work last happened, and how long ago, in your own time zone. Green: within a month. Amber: within two. Red: longer, or never. The last change of any kind shows beside it.
